Zero Pollution Motors, also known as Air Cars, was founded to reduce the use of non-renewable fuels to power vehicles and reduce environmental impact.
Zero Pollution Motors is a company to develop and manufacture zero pollution automobiles. It is also known as an Air Car, which is powered by compressed air. A government license allows the company to manufacture and sell these air cars in the United States of America.
With little to no noise and no pollution, the Air Car promises to make a significant change in the automotive industry for the more environmentally conscious minded solider. Ethan Tucker and Pat Boone are the founders of Zero Pollution Motors. In shark tank Season 6, Episode 27, Ethan and Boone asked for $5 million in deals for 50% of their company.
At the time, the founders only had a prototype, but they could bring a cropped photo of the car to the show. In the meantime, his intention with the investment was to start production at a factory in Hawaii. After facing some problems, they received an offer of $5 million from car lover Robert Herjavec. So let’s find out if Zero Pollution Motors is in business.
What are zero pollution engines?
Zero Pollution Motors, also known as Air Car, is a company that plans to build the first car powered by compressed air for a deal in the United States of America in mid-2019. It is an MDI license with three products: the AIRPOD Standard, the AIRPOD Cargo and the AIRPOD Baby. Ethan Tucker and Pat Boone are the duos that founded this company.
Air Car was founded to reduce the use of non-renewable fuels to power vehicles and decrease environmental impact. And to do that, Air Car claimed to use compressed air to power the engine. Therefore, they can not only be pollution-free but also noise-free.

Zero Pollution Engines (Aircar) Before Shark Tank
The founders of Zero Pollution Motors acquired the rights to make AirPods in Hawaii before appearing on Shark Tank. The AIRPOD is reported to have been in development since the year 2000. In the meantime, the founders of Air Car wanted to help reduce automobiles’ dependence on fossil fuels.
While living in Vermont, Tucker ventured into a project that required him to write a movie about one of the famous innovations called Nikola Tesla. Tucker saw the AIRPOD as a breakthrough in market making. It aroused his curiosity about cutting-edge green technologies. Later, the founders faced challenges equivalent to those experienced with previous breakthroughs, even though it was certified in 2010.
Because of that, it turned out that certain investors the company hired did not deliver on their half of the deal. One of the founding members, Tuckers, says the delays have come to a successful end.
What happened to zero pollution engines (aircars) before Shark Tank?
As Tucker and Boone stepped up to the podium, Robert recognized them. During his presentation, Tucker requests $5 million for 50% ownership in his Zero Pollution engines. His new pollutant-free car reflected on the five shark investors. Tucker and Boone explain why the air car is better than a battery car.
The founders also claimed that the air car could cover 100 miles in four hours. The two businessmen told the sharks that they required $5 million to set up the air car project and that the three-wheeler would sell for $10,000.
Daymond John called the Airpod a lunch box with wheels and he believed that it was too early to invest in such an idea. He was the first out. This idea was also off the table for Mark Cuban, who cheekily pointed out that he was not ready to invest. Also, Mr. Wonderful Kevin O’Leary he thought it was an insufficient business strategy and stayed on the sidelines. Despite the good things about Lori Greiner, she said that she is more interested in national sales. So, following the lawsuit, she also refused to invest in AirPods.
Not surprisingly, Robert became very interested in this concept. Not only that, but he shared his desire to try and test AirPods. Robert invested $5 million in Air cars in exchange for full ownership of the US market. With a deal in hand, both businessmen leave the shark tank at the end. After the Shark Tank deal, the entrepreneurs worked on their AirPod business plan. Likewise, the official website of Zero Pollution Motors indicated that the company would introduce AirPod 2.0 to US customers in mid-2019.
Zero Pollution Motors was slated to set up three different variations, each seating three to four passengers. And interested customers could reserve the car in advance. According to Looperthe company closed at the end of 2021. Although the company is no more, Air Car is still in operation.
Despite 20 years of development, the original vision for the AirPod never came to fruition. Consequently, Robert needed help to complete his original contract to pay $5 million for 50% of the company’s rights. There is still room on the waiting list for people interested in air cars and green cars.

Likewise, the company’s Facebook post was last made on September 20, 2018, which read:
“We are happy to announce that the first factory-made AirPods should launch in November at MDI in Nice, France.
Once we have a car, we’ll open an IPO online with StartEngine to raise $1.5 million for the first Airpod plant in the US. Once we’ve raised this amount, federal, state, and premises, which allows us to start manufacturing. More details to follow, but check out these photos of MDI.”
