Brandon Butcher is an American meteorologist who works as a weekday morning and midday news on the WSAZ. Previously, he worked as Chief Meteorologist at WDTV based in Clarksburg, West Virginia.
Furthermore, he is an Emmy Award winning meteorologist. He won back-to-back Boston-area Emmys for outstanding weather casting. Brandon also won an Emmy Award for a special program on the state’s 1985 floods. He also received the State Broadcasters Association Award for Best Meteorologist in West Virginia.
Furthermore, he went out in six hurricanes and did live broadcasts during a tornado occurrence when the tornado was hitting his studio. He is happy to be a part news channel 3morning show staff and enjoys hearing from their fans.
While not working, he enjoys outdoor activities and spends time with his children. He also loves going to the gym, church, or any neighborhood event. He attended a local school and earned his high school diploma.
