Tracy Humphrey is a veteran American journalist specializing in meteorology. Currently, Tracy serves as a weekend weatherman on ABC10 in Sacramento and 11Alive News WXIA-TV. Prior to joining Channel 10, Humphrey worked at KPIX in San Francisco and also spent four years as a weekend anchor on WNYW, the Fox affiliate station in New York.
Tracy was born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama. She then joined the University of Alabama and majored in Accounting. Later, Tracy graduated from Syracuse University with a master’s degree in broadcast journalism.
Tracy began her career in Savannah, Georgia, serving as a weekday time anchor on the WJCL. She then joined WTVH in Syracuse, New York as a weekend weather anchor and weekday weather reporter.
In 2001, Humphrey moved to WKBW in Buffalo, New York to work as a weekday weather anchor. Later, in 2007, Tracy received her academic accreditation for the American Meteorological Society’s Seal of Approval.
Tracy has covered a wide range of activities, from lake-effect snowstorms, wildfires, hurricanes, flash floods to severe storms.
