Dominique Sachse is a popular British/American Youtuber and journalist who currently works as a nightly news anchor on KPRC Channel 2, located in Houston. Sachse has been in the broadcast industry since 1993.
Dominique went to Memorial High School where he graduated in 1980. He received his high school diploma in 1985. Later, Sachse joined the University of Houston where he graduated in 1990 with a BA in Communication. Furthermore, she participated Richmond College.
While in college, Sachse was named an “Outstanding Young Communications Alumna” and also a “Distinguished Alumni” by her Alma Mater at the University of Houston. Dominique started her career as a traffic reporter for various radio channels in the 1990s. She also acted as a DJ (Disk Jockey) for several years.
She was promoted as a broadcast journalist on KPRCH2 after serving as a reporter for the morning traffic ranks. Sachse is very excited to be working on KPR Station 2 and calls it her second home. Previously, she worked at the Houston News.
While on KPRC season 2, Dominique covered the inauguration of President George W. Bush in January 2001. She also covered Pope Paul II’s visit to Mexico City in 2002. Additionally, in 2010, Sachse traveled to London to cover the royal wedding. In the same year, she covered the Olympics.
