Mike Iscovitz is an American weatherman who works as a weekday weatherman for Fox 26 in Houston, Texas from 4 am to 10 am. In September 2000, he joined the weather station staff. Iscovitz was the 69th individual in the United States to be recognized as an AMS-certified meteorologist when he obtained the Meteorological Society’s Seal of Approval in 2001.
Despite joining Fox 26, he served as a weekend anchor on KLFY-TV in Lafayette, Los Angeles. He is a Florida native who attended Florida State University and received a bachelor’s degree in Meteorology magna cum laude.
Iscovitz began his meteorological career as a meteorological intern at WSVN-TV in Miami and later as a student meteorologist at Florida State University. Mike moved to KLFY-TV in 1999. Iscovitz enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters, working out and practicing his guitar in his spare time.
