Eric Fisher biography
Eric Fisher is an American meteorologist who currently serves as chief meteorologist for CBS Boston’s WBZ-TV News and features weekday weather segments at 5pm, 6pm and 11pm, as well as WBZ-TV News at 10pm on my TV38 (WSBK -TELEVISION ). Additionally, he is a frequent contributor to CBS News and can be found reporting on inclement weather across the country on the CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley.
Eric joined The Weather Channel’s WBZ-TV News in Atlanta, where he spent three years as a meteorologist. He has produced nationally delivered forecasts and contributed to numerous live extreme weather reports. Some of the most notable events he has reported on include the Moore, Oklahoma tornado in 2013. Before all of that, he worked as a morning weather forecaster at WGGB-TV in Springfield Massachusetts.
