Gabe Ross is a renowned American meteorologist who is currently working as the first alert meteorologist for WECT since 2015. At first he worked behind the scenes as a News Operations Manager, but later joined the First Alert Weather Team in 2016.
Gabe is a second-generation broadcaster and former Ohio Valley NATAS board member with credits in East Central and Southeast Ohio for reporting, hosting, forecasting, directing, producing and other production duties.
He previously worked at the PBS/NPR affiliate at his alma mater, Ohio University, where he worked with students interested in broadcast journalism, weather, and athletics.
Gabe works in a variety of side ventures outside of work, including freelance production, advertising wrestling shows and hosting special events, while pursuing his dream job of hosting a game show.
