Katie Walls biography
Katie Walls is an American meteorologist who has currently been with Spectrum since June 2020. She is best known for her service as a meteorologist on WSB-TV between June 2014 and June 21, 2020. Prior to joining WSB-Tv, Katie also worked in southwest Florida at WINK and WSIL in southern Illinois.
She especially enjoys traveling when she was in Florida’s high circus state. During her tenure at Florida State University, Katie did Double Trapeze, Fire Poi, and Bike Five. Additionally, she did a number of underwater dives while working for WINK, highlighting dive sites in Southwest Florida.
Elsewhere, Walls helped exhibit sunk in 90 feet of water 30 miles from Fort Myers Bay and an underwater art exhibit at the United States’ Mohawk CGC.

Katie joined Florida State University for a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology, later graduating in 2007. After her contract at Tallahassee, she joined Peen State University for a Master of Science degree in Meteorology. Here, she focused on her thesis on floods. During her stay, she honed her forecasting skills and was one of the meteorologists for the state’s Weather World program.
