Diane Kacmarik biography
Diane Kacmarik is an American meteorologist working for Spectrum Bay 9. Kacmarik began her meteorological career while at Penn State University and joined the station in 2004.
After graduating, she moved to Air Science Consultants in Bridgeville, Penn. She made radio predictions and wrote predictions for several major city newspapers in the US and Canada. Later, she was hired by WTOV-TV, WATE-TV and WLEX-TV and worked as their chief meteorologist.
Diane also worked in Kansas City for WDAF-TV. Previously, she worked as a meteorologist at WTSP, Channel 10. From here, she joined the Spectrum Bay News 9 weather team in 2004. She is a member of the American Meteorological Society where she holds a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist Seal.
For his studies, Kacmarik attended Penn State University at State College, Penn. She followed and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Meteorology.
