Breland Moore is an American journalist who currently serves as a sports anchor and co-host of “The 215” on FOX29philly. She joined the network in May 2021 as a sports anchor. Before coming to Philadelphia, Moore worked for two years covering the Super Bowl LIV Champion Chiefs for KCTV in Kansas City.
She began her television career at Service Electric Cable TV in Allentown, PA, before working for three years covering the Buffalo Bills in THIRST in Rochester, NY. Furthermore, in 2018, she was nominated for an Emmy Award for “Accounts are back” a special about the 2017 Buffalo Bills playoff game.
Moore was born and raised on I-76 in Reading, PA, Philadelphia area, so sports have always been a staple for her. She spent most of her childhood hanging out with her grandfather at local hockey games: Phantoms, Flyers, Reading Royals and Hershey Bears.
During the summers, she was always at FirstEnergy Stadium, working for the Reading Fightin’ Phils. Furthermore, while in college, Moore was an intern for the Philadelphia Flyers.
Regarding his education, Moore attended Muhlenberg Secondary School. She later joined temple university where she graduated. She proudly represents both her alma mater and her “alter egos”, the Hooter mascot of Muhlenberg Muhl and Temple Owls.
