Ruby Barker is a British actress famous for playing Marina in the Netflix period drama Bridgton (2020-present). She was awarded Best Actress at the British Urban Film Festival for her acting role in the film How to Stop a Recurring Dream in 2020.
Born in Islington, she spent her childhood in London and Winchester before moving to Glasgow. While in Glasgow, she took weekend classes at the Elizabeth Murray School Dance. She had her first experience as an actress in an advertisement for RBS.
Sadly, her parents separated and she moved to Church Fenton with her mother and stepmother. She ended up attending the Tadcaster Grammer School and studied International Relations at the London School of Economics. She ended up working at the National Railway Museum in New York while participating in local theater productions.
