Haleigh Vaughn Biography
Haleigh Vaughn is an American meteorologist who has currently worked at FOX 17 News since joining the station in June 2021. Vaughn grew up in West Michigan and is excited to be returning home.
At a young age, she was afraid of tornadoes and strong storms. She turned her anxiety into a passion by studying meteorology.
Regarding her education, Haleigh went to central university of michigan, where she graduated with a major in meteorology, a major in mathematics, and a major in broadcast and film arts. In addition, she received Seal of the American Meteorological Societyso she is a certified broadcast meteorologist.
Vaughn’s career began at 9 & 10 News in Northern Michigan, where he worked for several years predicting lake impact snow and connecting with communities in Northern Michigan. After her tenure in northern Michigan, she went to WTVG 13abc in Toledo, Ohio, where she immediately fell in love with all of Toledo.
The West Michigan forecast brings Haleigh a lot of pride. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her little dog and her future husband. Furthermore, she loves to bake, run and cook as well as go on outdoor adventures in West Michigan.
