Jose Grinan is an American journalist who currently works as a senior news anchor at FOX 26 Houston. He joined this station in August 1993. Grinan has been an essential part of FOX 26 Morning News since its inception.
He attended and graduated from University of South Floridawhere he studied speech and theater. As a result, he is fluent in Spanish. Jose developed an interest in broadcasting from his filming and helping to produce documentaries. This was for the US Army.
Before joining FOX 26, he worked in several locations, including Tampa, New York, Miami, Dallas, and Los Angeles. He covered the massacre in Killeen. Additionally, he witnessed civil unrest firsthand in New York, Miami, and Los Angeles. He also chased hurricanes in the Caribbean. In 1978, he became a member of the National Association of Black Journalists.
