Biography of Adam DeVine
Adam DeVine is an American comedian, actor, and screenwriter who rose to fame as the co-creator of a Comedy Central TV show called Workaholics. He even gained more fame for playing the recurring role of Andy Bailey on Modern Family. Adam’s fame also grew after he played the lead role in his own movie called Adam DeVine’s House Party. Adam’s other famous roles are in Pitch Perfect 1 &2, When We First Met, Game Over Man! and The Lego Batman Movie.
DeVine was born in Waterloo, Iowa, but grew up in Omaha, Nebraska after his family decided to move from Iowa. He grew up as the only child in his family. Adam attended Millard South High School and graduated in 2002. He then enrolled at Orange Coast College and majored in performing arts. Adam was also in a tragic accident when he was around 11 years old while riding his bike in Omaha. He has recovered from his injury, but Adam still has some emotional and physical scars from the accident.
DeVine began his acting career by moving to Los Angeles, California. He started out as a stand-up comedian who performed at comedy clubs while also playing small supporting roles on TV. His first gig was in a comedy group called Mail Order Comedy. In 2009. Adam joined Comedy Central and played a lead role in its show called Workaholics. His role in the series earned him popularity as an actor and comedian.
DeVine landed his lead roles in Mama’s Boy (2007), Modern Family (2011) and The Legend of Awesomest Maximus while doing Stand Up. Adam’s most recent roles are in Extinct (2021), Reindeer in Here (2022), Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin (2022) and an upcoming film called The Out-Laws.

Adam DeVine accident
Devine was in a fatal accident when he was 11 years old. The accident occurred when he was riding his bike down the road in Omaha. Adam patiently waited for three huge cement trucks to pass. However, he was suddenly hit by the fourth truck which was blocked by opposing traffic.
Adam was knocked unconscious and suffered an acute shock that put him into a coma.b He severely broke his legs and had a collapsed lung that developed several infections. Therefore, Adam had to undergo 26 surgeries and spent years of his life in a wheelchair.
Thankfully, Devine was able to walk again, but he still had extensive scarring. Sources confirmed that Adam survived the crash as his bike had full power from impact first. Devine revealed in an interview that recovering from the accident was difficult because he had to learn to walk again.
