Biography of Aditi Roy
Aditi Roy is an Indian-American journalist who currently works as a general reporter for CNBC, based out of the network’s San Francisco office, CNBC@1Market. Most notably, she joined the station in July 2016.
Roy holds a BA in Political Science from UC Berkeley, as well as a master’s degree in political science from stanford university, and a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University. She also received an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at University of Pennsylvaniaone in 2012.
After her graduation, she began her career as a reporter and photographer at KLKN-TV in Lincoln, Nebraska. She later worked as a reporter at KHQ-TV in Spokane Washington before joining NBC in 2002. She also anchored the morning and evening news on NBC10 in Philadelphia.
Prior to joining CNBC, Rosy was a West Coast correspondent for ABC News, reporting for all broadcasts and platforms on the network. While there, she covered a wide range of stories, from consumer-facing products and a Delphi self-driving car to the 2013 Target breach and harsh weather across the West. She currently works as a general reporter for CNBC since 2016.
