Alessandro Nivola is an American actor and producer who runs King Bee Productions, who made two seasons of the HBO comedy Doll & Em and To Dust. Throughout his career, he has been nominated and awarded several awards. He has been nominated for a Tony Award, an Independent Spirit Award, a Screen Actors Award, a British Independent Film Award, and a Best Actor award.
Born in Boston Massachusetts, he attended Phillips Exeter Academy and Yale University. When his family lived in Burlington, he attended Master Christi School. At Yale University, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English in 1994.
Immediately after graduating, he made his Broadway debut opposite Helen Mirren in A Month in the Country. For his discovery, Nivola got a performance in John Woo’s feature film Face/Off, playing Nicolas Cage’s brother Pollux Troy.
After this role, he continued to land roles in many film and TV roles. More recently, it was announced that he has been cast in Sony’s Kraven the Hunter movie, set for a January 13, 2023 release. According to our sources, he will play the movie’s antagonist.
