Alex Boyer is an American journalist who currently works at Dallas-based FOX4 as an anchor and reporter. After high school, Boyer continued his education at Yale University, where he studied law. Later, he joined the University of Florida to earn his bachelor’s degree in communication.
His journalistic career began when he worked at WVIT-TV. While there, he was supposed to serve as the General Assignment Reporter. Later, in 2003, Boyer joined WPLG-TV and worked as a General Assignment Reporter for a period of 5 years. He then moved to Florida, where he worked at NBC2/ABC7 as a senior reporter, but left the station in January 2011 for a position at KEYE-TV.
At KEYE-TV, he served as a news reporter for 5 years before joining his current station. He currently works at FOX4 as an anchor and reporter since January 2016. In his spare time, Boyer spends much of his leisure exercising, trying a new cafe and restaurant, watching a movie, or even exploring Dallas with his dog without fur named Xander.
