Andrea Henderson is an American news anchor and reporter who currently works as an anchor and traffic reporter at NBC4, Columbus, Ohio. Prior to joining NBC4, Andrea worked as a morning anchor and reporter at WINK News, based in Fort Meyers.
Henderson joined NBC4 in the fall of 2020, although she is not new to Buckeye State. She is a proud graduate of Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism.
She then began her career at the student newspaper The Lantern, Ohio State in March 2012 as an assistant multimedia editor. In her position, Andrea wrote and edited over 20 webcast episode packages using Final Cut Pro X Software, wrote 20 published stories, 3 front page stories, and interviewed people for multimedia packages and print stories.
As of September 2014, Henderson joined Fox News Channel 28 and ABC6 as a production assistant. Andrea then landed her first on-air job as a weekend anchor at Your Hometown Lima Stations, working from September 2015 to April 2017.
In May 2017, she began working as an anchor and weekend reporter for WINK News in Fort Meyers, Florida. On the station, she covered Hurricane Irma, its disastrous effect, as well as the major water crisis that affected Southwest Florida in 2019. Henderson spent three years at the station before moving to NBC4, WCMH-TV in Columbus, Ohio Metropolitan Area, where she currently works as a traffic anchor and reporter.
