Antony Robart is a Canadian journalist who is a veteran reporter and video journalist who currently serves as an anchor for Global News Morning Toronto. Having worked with Global News for over seven years, he has covered a number of important local and international stories.
Born in Halifax, Antony studied and graduated from McGill University in Montreal before moving to Washington, DC There he studied at American Univerity and later began his career there. He began his career at the ABC News Washington Bureau, working alongside White House correspondent Sam Donaldson. He later moved to Toronto where he joined CBS News, rising from editorial assistant to reporter and video journalist.
After some time, he moved to France, where he worked as a reporter at Radio France International and as a producer and cameraman at CNBC Europe. In 2004, he returned home and became a reporter and anchor for Global Toronto, before landing a position as an anchor for Global News 11.
