Ashley Michels is an American reporter and anchor who currently works as a reporter for FOX31 Denver and Channel 2 News. She joined the station in April 2014. Most notably, she began her career as a political reporter for WCIA-TV in Springfield, Illinois.
She is a proud graduate of Northern Illinois University where he graduated with Bachelor of Broadcast Journalism, Journalism and International Politics. Furthermore, she has a Master’s degree in political affairs reporting from the University of Illinois Springfield.
During her freshman year, she was selected as a contestant on the game show “Wheel of Fortune”. It was after recording that a producer told her that she would be on TV for a living. She took that advice to heart and majored in broadcast journalism, English and international politics. She credits the game show for launching her into the field of broadcast television.
