Bill Rohrer biography
Bill Rohrer is an American multimedia journalist and reporter who has currently worked for FOX29 since 2006. As a journalist, Rohrer writes, films and edits segments that feature some of Philadelphia’s most exciting stories. After his education, he attended Neshaminy High School in Langhorne, PA. Furthermore, he attended Kutztown University from which he graduated in 2001.
A member of the National Photographers Association, Bill began producing segments after participating in the NPPA’s Advanced Storytelling in April 2014. Bill has experience as a news photographer and editor.
Prior to joining FOX29, Bill worked for CN8 News, where his career began as an editor. Throughout his career, he has received numerous awards and nominations. He is a three-time winner of the Mid-Atlantic Emmy Award for Outstanding Solo Video Journalist. Not long ago, Bill won Emmy Awards as a reporter in the general work and reporting category.
His work also won him twelve Emmy awards, as well as best photographer and best editor. Bill won three Associated Press Awards for Best Photographer and the prestigious Edward R. Murrow Award for Investigative Reporting. He is currently working at FOX29 where he works alongside other famous FOX29 anchors.
