Braxton participated in the Portland University, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication. She later participated State University, where he obtained a Master’s degree in Journalism.
She has worked as a news anchor for KGW-TV since 1989. Prior to that, she worked in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on a station called WAFB-TV. There, she served as an evening anchor and also a medical health reporter. Most notably, she celebrated 30 years of working with KGW-TV on August 21, 2019.
