Carolyn Gusoff is an American television news reporter and author, currently working at WCBS-TV as a Long Island reporter in New York City. Despite this, she spent three years as a reporter on Fox 5 in New York.
Previously, Carolyn worked for 15 years at WNBC in New York as Chief Reporter for the Long Island Bureau and anchor of Weekend Today in New York. In collaboration with kidnap victim Katie Beer, Gusoff wrote “Buried Memories: Katie Beers’ Story,” a New York Times bestseller.
she graduated in George W. Hewlett High School. She later joined, Cornell University and graduated with a BA in English and Government, and the columbia universityy Graduate in Journalism and Master’s in Journalism.
Carolyn Gusoff began her career in Fort Myers, Florida, where she worked at WEVU-TV, an ABC affiliate at the time, and WLEQ-FM. Furthermore, he started working on News 12 Long Island in the 1980s. He also joined WNBC in August 1993, the NBC owned and operated station in New York City.
