Casey Stegall biography
Casey Stegall is an American journalist who currently works as a correspondent for the Fox News Channel. He is responsible for news coverage of the southwestern portion of the United States. Prior to that, Stegall worked in the network’s Los Angeles office, where he served for more than five years while covering the western part of the country.
His career began as a reporter in his hometown where he worked for WTVW-TV and FOX 7. He traveled in 2007 to Israel to work at the FOX News Jerusalem office. He joined FOX News after working as a morning general reporter on KDFW-TV, FOX 4 and, before that, was a city hall reporter on KVUE-TV, ABC 24.
A native of Indiana, Stegall attended Ball State University where he majored in telecommunications. He also majored in German. Based out of FOX’s Dallas office, Casey is responsible for covering the southwestern portion of the United States. Prior to that, he was based in Los Angeles, where he worked for over five years.
While in Dallas, he won a regional Emmy Award for his live reporting skills. The Dallas Press Club also recognized him for his breaking news coverage. Also, during his time in Austin, the Associated Press and Headliners Foundation named him the best reporter in Texas. He also won an Edward R Murrow Award for excellence in news while working for ABC in Austin.
