Catherine is the station’s Thomasville Bureau department chief, an hour south of Albany. She received her summa cum laude from the University of Georgia in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism. Patterson is also an ambassador for the University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism. She also worked as a multimedia journalist for Grady’s Newsource, a local news outlet in northeast Georgia.
