Charlie Plummer is an American actor who initially began his career as a child actor appearing in the television drama Boardwalk Empire and Granite Flats. After starring in the 2019 Hulu miniseries Looking for Alaska, Plummer was cast as the young Franklin D. Roosevelt in the 2022 series The First Lady.
Born in Poughkeepsie, Plummer grew up traveling through most of his childhood and adolescence. The main reason behind this was her parents career. In return, Plummer attended seven different schools. For him, this was both a merit and a demerit. It was a merit that he was able to explore new environments and it was both a demerit and a challenge to adapt to these new environments.
