Anthony Domol is an American meteorologist and news presenter who currently works at FOX 17 News in Grand Rapids. He’s thrilled to be part of the Fox 17 weather team, and you can see him Tuesday through Saturday on Fox 17 Morning News.
Domol went to Detroit Central Catholic High School. He later enrolled in the Michigan State University, where he graduated with a degree in Education. Furthermore, he went on to University of Valparaiso, where he majored in meteorology.
Anthony started his career at KTXA, an ABC affiliate in Abilene, Texas. He served as a morning weather forecaster from mid-June 2013 to July 2015. He experienced significant periods of severe weather, including tornadoes and even some major ice storms while working in Abilene.
After his stint in Texas, Domol found his second TV job closer to home. In mid-August 2015, he took a position as a morning weather forecaster at WFRV, a CBS affiliate in Green Bay, Wisconsin, until mid-October 2018. He experienced major winter storms, severe weather, and flood events while working at WFRV. He’s lived in the Midwest pretty much his entire life, but claims he’s never seen anything like the blizzard that hit the Green Bay area in April 2018, dropping nearly two feet of snow.
Additionally, Domol went out into the community for live interviews, anticipating upcoming events in northeast Wisconsin. From mid-October 2018 to early February 2019, Anthony took a freelance role as a morning weather forecaster and news anchor in Rhinelander, Wisconsin.
