Cher Calvin is an American Award-winning journalist and currently anchors KTLA 5 News at 6, 6:30, 10, and 11 on weekdays. Prior to this role, Calvin co-hosted the weekend evening news as well as the KTLA morning show, where she won an Emmy in 2005.
Calvin graduated from New York University with a BA in broadcast journalism and a major in political science. She began her broadcasting career in New York as an assistant writing editor for Time Magazine. Calvin also graduated from Marymount School of New York in 1992, a prep Catholic high school for girls on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.
