Chris Holmstrom biography
Chris Holmstrom is an American Emmy-winning journalist who currently works as an anchor and weekend reporter on CBS2 and KCAL9. He joins KOIN-TV’s CBS2 and KCAL9, where he worked as an anchor and reporter.
Switching to his educational background, he attended the University of Applied Sciences in Breda, where he graduated in 2007 with a specialization in International and Intercultural Communication. He also graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism in 2008, having joined the university in 2005.
He interned at KNAZ in Flagstaff, Arizona for less than a year before joining KNDU-TV. Chris joined KNDU-TV in July 2009 as an anchor and weekend reporter. He filmed, wrote and edited stories for the evening news. However, he left the station in July 2011 for a similar position at KOLD/KMSB. He joined KOLD/KMSB in August 2011 but left in September 2013.
