Christian De La Rosa is an American journalist who currently serves as a reporter and anchor for WPLG Local 10 News in Miami, Florida. La Rosa joined WPLG in April 2017 from WGCL, CBS46, where she worked as a reporter for 6 years.
Christian grew up in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and attended La La Universidad de Puerto Rico, where he studied labor law. He later graduated from the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in radio and television journalism.
During his senior year of college, Christian landed his first job as an anchor, reporter and news producer at the Public Broadcasting Service in Gainesville, Florida. After spending two years at the network, he joined WJHG-TV as a reporter.
In October 2017, Christian joined Bright House Networks in Orlando, Florida, where he served as an anchor and reporter for the Central Florida News 13. After four years, Rosa decided to leave and focus on her news reporter and replace her anchor role at Tributed Broadcasting.
Eventually, he got a new job at WGCL, CBS 46 as a reporter, where he works to this day. In April 2017, WPLG Local 10 News hired Christian as a Miami anchor and reporter, a position he holds to this day.
