Christina Boomer Vazquez is an Edward R. Murrow Award-winning journalist currently working for WPLG in South Florida. She joined Local 10 news station in 2019 and currently works as a reporter. Additionally, Boomer was the creator of the Emmy-winning consumer protection investigative segment “Call Christina” at the 2015 WPLG in Miami by the Radio Television Digital News Association.
Fortunately, Vazquez was honored with the USC Annenberg Walter Cronkite Award for Excellence in Political Television Journalism, a national award while working at the ABC affiliate. While working for station WPLG, Christina is the founder of Boomer Global Coomunications, LLC from August 2018 to the present.
