Colin Jost is an American comedian and actor from New York. He is widely recognized as a cast member of NBC’s Saturday Night Live and the lovable husband of famous American actress Scarlett Johannsen. He even gained popularity for appearing as a writer and co-anchor on Weekend Updates. Colin is also a famous actor who has appeared in movies and TV shows like Staten Island Summer (2016), How to Be Single (2016) and Tom & Jerry (2021).
Jost was born and raised in the southern suburbs of Grymes Hill in New York City. He grew up as the eldest child in a family of two children. Colin finished his high school studies from Regis High School based in Manhattan. He then graduated with a BA in History and Literature from Harvard University with a minor in Russian Literature and British Literature.
Colin began his career as a reporter working for the Staten Island Advance. He then went on to write scripts for Nickelodeon shows like Kappa Mikey.
