Courtney Holmes is an American journalist who currently works as a reporter for the business and investigative unit of ABC15. Her reporting focuses on getting to the heart of complicated stories and improving people’s everyday lives.
Most notably, she joined the network in September 2010 and has held various newsroom positions during that time. She was asked to lead and produce the consumer franchise Let Joe Known with ABC15 investigator Joe Ducey in 2013. For six years, they have brought to light stories of consumer abuse, unfair business practices and unfair laws.
They exposed a state law that allowed investors to discreetly make a hostile takeover of condominiums. As a result of this report, lawmakers changed the law to make it fairer to homeowners.
Prior to her role as a producer, she spent three years at the ABC15 assignment table directing news teams and facilitating coverage of the day’s news. Courtney worked on stations in Las Vegas and New Orleans before coming to ABC15.
