Crystal Reed is an American actress who gained rave reviews for her role as Allison Argent on the Teen Wolf series (2011-2014). She left the series after the third season, but made a guest appearance in the fifth season as Alisson’s ancestor Marie-Jenna Valet. She also played Sofia Falcone in Gotham, and the lead role of Abby Arcane in Swamp Thing (2019).
Furthermore, she appeared in movies like Skyline, Crush, Too Late, and Ghostland (2018). Born and raised in Detroit, she attended and graduated from Roseville High School in 2003. In high school, she studied dance and was even a dance captain. Additionally, she was an active member of local community theater and starred in the musicals Annie, Fiddler on the Roof and Grease.
She later attended Wyne State University, where she was part of the Bachelor of Fine Arts program, but left the program when she questioned whether it was the right fit for her. After her studies, she moved to Chicago and appeared in several local productions, and in December 2008, she moved to Hollywood to pursue a film career.
In 2010, she guest-starred on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and The Hard Times of RJ Berger. She then played Allison Argent in Teen Wolf, a role she most recently reprized in the 2023 reunion film Teen Wolf: The Movie. She lists golf as one of her hobbies when not filming.
