As a young man, he starred in several child roles in film and television, for which he was twice nominated for a Young Artist Award. He was famous for his roles in Doc (2001-2004) and Maid in Manhattan (2002). In 2007, he auditioned for the role of Jacob Black but lost the role to his friend Taylor Lautner.
