Dave Roever biography
Dave Roever is a patriotic veteran who served in the United States Navy’s Special Warfare Division from 1968 to 1971.
Joining the navy never crossed Dave’s mind. When the Vietnam war was at its height, he received his call-up notice. As he did not wish to serve in the infantry, Dave decided to join the army, where he served as a riverboat gunner in the elite Brown Water Black Beret in Vietnam.
After 8 months, Dave was involved in an accident. He was holding a phosphorus grenade he was about to throw. Unfortunately, it exploded and burned him beyond recognition. He underwent major surgery and was hospitalized for fourteen months. Your survival and life are nothing short of a miracle.
Roever attended Bible College in Texas and received an honorary doctorate in May 2005 in recognition of his accomplishments. He is also an evangelist.
