He spent his full 15-year professional career as a defensive end for the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL). Michael Strahan’s illness has piqued the interest of many individuals.

Although Michael Strahan has yet to return to work he felt well enough to inform his “Good Morning America” colleagues and fans about his COVID-19 diagnosis.

“I just want to thank everyone for your good wishes and everyone who reached out and sent me the get-well wishes and all the tips on how to feel better,” the 49-year-old actor said in a video broadcast on Wednesday.

I just wanted to let you know that I’m feeling much better and thankful to be on the other side.

Strahan was confined after testing positive for the new coronavirus according to “GMA” last week. He hasn’t appeared on the programme since the 25th of January.

Despite acknowledging that “you don’t want COVID” or to “go through everything that comes with it” Strahan said on Wednesday “I’m doing fine.”

The former NFL star and the anchor said his current top priority is to get “as much” rest and water as possible in order to regain stamina and return to work after adhering to quarantine guidelines.
