Florez served as a reporter, anchor, and weather expert at KIDK, based in Idaho Falls. She covered breaking news and specialized in crime, politics, social services, and agriculture. Emily served as a substitute anchor and featured host on Primary Children’s Medical Center of Eastern Idaho’s Miracle Network Telethon.
With the help of ENPS and Avid, Emily was able to film, produce, and edit daily packages. She also produced and anchored 2-3 minute live weather segments as the channel’s substitute weather expert.
