Previously, she spent about three and a half years working as a traffic reporter and anchor for KUSA 9 News based in Denver, Colorado. Lopez further gained experience working as an intern for the Hearst Television network from 2013 to 2015.
Lopez was born and raised in the suburbs of Ohio, United States. She grew up as the only child of a lovely middle-class couple of Colombian and Italian ethnicity. Growing up, Lopez was described as a very interested and attentive child who enjoyed doing science experiments when she was in high school. She finished high school in her hometown and joined Liberty University in 2009. Lopez graduated from Liberty with her first class major in Mass Communication. She was also an active athlete who earned her place at liberty through a Division I scholarship program. In 2013, Lopez joined Towson University where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication in 2015.
