Franklin Graham Biography
Franklin Graham is an American Protestant evangelist and missionary best known for his Christian revival tours and political commentary. He is the son of Billy Graham, a renowned American evangelist. Graham is currently the CEO and President of the Billy Graham Evangelism Association. He also founded Samaritan’s Purse, an international Christian relief organization.
Born and raised in Asheville, North Carolina, to evangelists Billy and Ruth Graham, Franklin attended Stony Brook School. This is a private Christian school in Long Island, New York. Eventually, he gave up. He finished high school in North Carolina.
In 1970, Franklin attended Le Tourneau College in Longview, Texas, and was soon expelled from school for keeping a classmate out of curfew. Later, in 1974, Graham graduated from Montreat-Anderson College, currently Montreat College, with an AS In 1978, he graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
Franklin was ordained by Grace Community Church in Temple, Arizona, a non-denominational church in 1982. He then began holding events for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association in 1989, becoming the CEO in 2000 and its president in 2002.

Shortly after becoming a Christian in 1974, Franklin joined Bob Pierce, founder of Samaritan’s Purse, on a six-week mission to Asia. He then decided to focus his attention on world relief. In 1979, Graham also became the president of Samaritan’s Purse after Pierce’s death. He currently serves as the organization’s CEO.
In March 2011, Graham stated in an interview with Newsmax that the 2011 Japan earthquake and tsunami would be the second Armageddon.
Also, in the same year, Graham told ABC’s This Week program that Donald Trump was his preferred candidate. In that sense, he has become President Donald Trump’s most vociferous evangelical ally.
