Gayle King is a renowned American television personality, journalist, and author, best known for working at CBS News. She is a co-host of CBS This Morning, a flagship morning show that she has hosted since its debut in 2012. In addition, she is the editor-at-large of O, The Oprah Magazine.
King went to school at an American school in Turkey. Afterwards, he joined the University of Maryland, majoring in psychology and sociology. She began her career in Kansas City, Missouri as a correspondent for WDAF-TV. After building her career, she was hired as a presenter for the WFSB in Hartford, Connecticut in the year 1981.
Later in 1991, Gayle co-hosted an NBC daytime talk show with Robin Wagner called Cover to Cover, but it was canceled after 13 weeks. In 1997, she had her own syndicated talk show titled “The Gayle King Show”. The show was canceled after one season due to low ratings.
