Greg Bobos is a renowned American meteorologist and weather anchor who currently works as a meteorologist for Fox 45/ABC 22 in Dayton. He spent three years working as a morning weather forecaster at ABC 57 in South Bend, Indiana. In addition, he was in Rockford for two years working as a morning weather forecaster at WREX.
Bobos was born and raised in northwest Indiana. He attended Indiana University, where he was an avid fan of Hoosiers. Greg came to Dayton from ABC57 in South Bend, Indiana, where he spent nearly three years as a morning weather forecaster. Before moving to South Bend, Greg worked as a morning weather forecaster at WREX for two years in Rockford, Illinois.
During his time in Rockford, Bobos was privileged to be a part of a large assembly school program called Project: Tornado, which he launched in South Bend. Over his 5 years in the area, Bobos has helped over 24,000 students about the dangers of severe weather and how they and their families can best prepare for the next big storm.
Out of time, Bobos is a die-hard White Sox fan. He has been a drummer for over 15 years and competed nationally in high school with our drum line. He is also a foodie. Greg can’t wait to become a member of the Miami Valley community, connecting with all of its residents.
