Guillermo Arduino is a journalist currently working as a CNN anchor and correspondent for CNN Networks based at the CNN Center in Atlanta. Arduino is the anchor of CNN en Español’s daily afternoon program, Encuentro.
He also hosts Clix, the network’s technology show, which won a Daytime Emmy in 2014 for outstanding Spanish-language entertainment show. Arduino was previously the anchor of the network’s prime-time weekend news show, Mirador Mundial.
Guillermo was born and raised in the Argentine capital of Buenos Aires. He went to Instituto Superior de Teaching de Radiodifusión, National Higher Institute of Teaching in Live Languages “Juan Ramón Fernandez”.
At age 25, he began working in the radio and television industry, becoming the host of a nightly news program on TV CVN-America in Argentina.
In 1995, Arduino worked as a news anchor for NBC’s International Language TV News Station’s News Channel on a breakfast show. He worked for NBC, where he interviewed foreign leaders and covered US presidential elections.
