Hilary Golston is an Emmy Award-winning American journalist currently working on FOX 2. Previously, she worked at WKYC in Cleveland.. She received three Cleveland Press Club awards and was featured on MSNBC for her experience in the Tamir Rice case. Golston is also known on the Charlotte North Carolina Weather Channel. Hilary reported on some of the biggest local and national stories of the day, including the Republican National Convention and the Brelo verdict. She seized exclusivity and held civil servants accountable. She also covered some of the most notable police shootings in the country, spreading stories that held the Cuyahoga County District Attorney responsible, while urging a group of clergymen to ask the district attorney to refuse following the murder of 12-year-old Tamir Rice. .
Golston was sent to South Carolina to cover historic 1,000-year floods, where she interviewed US Senator Tim Scott live and simultaneously reported on the damage he was researching in a part of the state for his employer WKYC. She also reported live from the command center where Governor Nikki Haley held press conferences. She was also chosen to report on the Michael Brown case in Ferguson, Missouri, uncovering details about a $3.4 million request for emergency funds to pay the police after being the first to interview a St. Louis on the subject of funding.
Prior to joining WKYC, Hilary anchored weekend nightly shows for the NBC station in Birmingham, Alabama. She also won an Emmy for reporting on a special that marked the one-year anniversary of the worst tornado outbreak to hit Alabama. For over two years, Hilary anchored NBC 13’s sports coverage on weekend nightly shows in addition to her other anchor roles.

Golston holds a Bachelor of Science from George Washington University in Washington, DC. Prior to her graduation, she made her mark on TV, appearing on Fox Sports Network Detroit as a reporter for High School Hammertime.
