Powerful, strong, intelligent, and ambitious are some of the adjectives that can rightly describe Hillary Clinton, a former First Lady of the United States, former Senator from New York (the first woman to hold this office), former Secretary of State under the Obama regime and Democratic candidate in the race for the White House in 2016. Hillary Clinton’s success has inspired women across America and around the world.

As a world figure, people from different walks of life have taken an interest in Hillary’s personal life because of her illustrious political career. Let us go into these personal details, starting with her health.

Hillary Clinton Health

During her race to the White House in 2016, Hillary’s health became a much-discussed topic after a recording of her leaving the 9/11 Memorial appeared online. The then-presidential candidate was seen stumbling and needed a lot of help from her helpers to get to her car.

This immediately gave the media a big day with speculation coming from all directions. Her suitability for the fight for the highest office in the nation was immediately questioned.

After leaving the 15th anniversary of the September 2011 attacks, Hillary was taken to her daughter’s home in New York, from which she later emerged as her normal self. The press had been waiting for her outside as she smiled and waved, but refused to answer the reporters’ questions, which included, “What happened?

Clinton’s campaign team later issued a statement claiming that the secretary was overheated and dehydrated after she was given antibiotics because she had been diagnosed with pneumonia a few days earlier. Her doctor also declared her fit and able to keep up with the race to the White House.

But for the conservative opposition, who had long been skeptical about Hillary’s health and physical fitness for the presidency, it sounded like a story that sounded like a fairy tale. Trump had told her several times that she lacked the necessary stamina to assume responsibility in the White House.

Before her near-collapse, Hillary had been coughing at times during her speeches, and when questioned about them, she simply dismissed them as allergies.

To make things more interesting, pro-conservative news sites dug up more details about Clinton’s health. Edward Klein, author of the book “Guilty as sin: New Evidence of Corruption and How Hillary Clinton and the Democrats Foiled the FBI Investigation,” published his opinion/analysis in the Washington Times where he revealed with apparent facts that Clinton’s health was worse than what her team told the media.

Klein said his sources had revealed to him that Clinton had made several covert visits to the hospital and that her doctors had diagnosed her with arrhythmia, a condition in which the heartbeat rhythm was abnormal. He also said that Hillary had a leaking heart valve that required surgery to correct the problem.

Well, I guess the truth is better known to Clinton and her family.

Husband – Bill Clinton

Hillary and her husband Bill Clinton have written history together since their marriage on October 11, 1975. They first met at Yale University, where they both received a Juris Doctor degree. It is said that Hilary rejected Bill Clinton’s application several times.

The couple married and settled in Bill’s hometown of Arkansas, where Clinton had passed the bar exam and began teaching criminal law at the University of Arkansas’ School of Law in Fayetteville while pursuing her first political ambitions to become a congressman. Hillary co-founded Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families in 1977.

They first made history together in 1978 when Bill became the youngest Governor of Arkansas at the age of 32. That was before he lost his candidacy for a seat in the House of Representatives and became Attorney General of Arkansas.

While her husband was in the civil service, Hillary distinguished herself as an executive in a law firm and sat on the boards of many prestigious companies, earning top salaries in the process.

But not everything was rosy for the couple. Their marriage was threatened in 1997 by a sex scandal involving Bill and White House intern Monica Lewinsky, which eventually led to his indictment but was reinstated in 1999.

Since then, the couple has been strong and supportive of each other. Although they left the White House broke in 2001, the Clintons successfully turned their wealth of public service experience into lucrative speeches and earned a total of $240 million between 2001 and 2016, Forbes estimates.

Hillary Clinton Daughter, Children

Hillary and Bill Clinton welcomed their first child, daughter Chelsea Clinton, on February 27, 1980, when Bill completed his first term as governor of Arkansas. Chelsea was to become their only child.

Despite her parents’ efforts to keep her as far away from media coverage as possible, Chelsea Clinton became the most televised presidential child before her, with no fewer than 87 news programs revolving around her.

Like her parents, Chelsea Clinton has enviable academic qualifications. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Stanford University. She has two master’s degrees, one from University College, Oxford, and one from the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University. From the former, she also earned a doctorate in Philosophy in International Relations in 2014.

Chelsea has been actively involved in her family’s Clinton Foundation and Clinton Global Initiative and has served on its committees. In 2010 she married Marc Mezvinsky and together they have a son and a daughter.

Parents

Hillary’s parents; Hugh Rodham and Dorothy Howell Rodham (née Howell) met in 1937 when Hugh worked at a textile company that Dorothy had come to apply for a job as a typist. They courted for a long time before they married in 1942. Five years later they welcomed Hillary.

While Hillary’s father, Hugh Rodham, had slight success as a textile wholesaler, her mother was a full-time housewife. Hugh Rodham died of a stroke in 1993 at the age of 82, just three months after Hillary became First Lady. He was a World War II veteran and a staunch Republican.

Hillary’s mother died in 2011 from complications of heart failure. She was 92 years old.
