
Femi Kuti, an Afrobeat artist, expressed that she hoped to die early in life. On June 16, the artist, son of the incredible Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, turned 60.
In a meeting with Goldmyne TV that aired on Sunday, the eminent and award-winning vocalist expressed surprise that he was still alive to praise his 60th birthday celebration.
He assured that as a child, a companion warned him that he would die soon and this was all because he was a bit of a fool from an early age.

I had a bike back then, so he was seeing me as ‘this one, you’re going to die in no time’ since I was so particularly foolish as a young man.
Having clocked 60, I’m very surprised to be here. Anyway, it’s generous. It’s a time when you simply consider countless things in your day to day life and you know, every second is valuable these days with companions, family members and your children. It’s an incredible age. I thought 50 was great, but 60 is more noteworthy.”
