Ingrid Kelley is an American journalist who currently works as a reporter for WJBK-Fox 2 Detroit. She is grateful for the opportunity to connect with and report on the lives of people living in Southern Michigan. Kelley attended and graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She later earned her Master of Arts degree from Wayne State University.
Before moving back to her hometown, she lived in New York City. During her time in the Big Apple, she held many roles. This included working as a writer for Fox News Channel and On-Air Talent for several cable news channels. She also worked as a freelance producer and writer for the Black Enterprise Business Report.
Kelley is a member of the Detroit Chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists. She also gives back to her community as a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. Kelley also serves as a mentor to students seeking career guidance. She believes that the knowledge she has gained through academic and professional experiences allows her to encourage students.
