Robin Murdoch is an American journalist who currently works as an American reporter, writer, and assignment editor for Detroit-based FOX2 since joining the station in 2009. Prior to coming to Detroit, she was a reporter in Michigan. She has also served as a reporter for WTXF-TV, based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
After high school, she continued her education at Emerson College. She later attended university and studied mass communications, graduating in 1997. Her career began in Alpena, Michigan. She also worked at Cadillac and Knoxville, Tennessee, before moving to Detroit.
She currently works for Fox 2 News and has been with the network since 2009. She also truly loves what she does as a journalist and finds great joy in waking up with her viewers every morning. According to her, no two days are the same, which is why she is so easy to wake up to. You can find her standing along an icy Metro Detroit highway as she reports live from the scene of a deadly shooting.
