Janice Rogers is a renowned American journalist who currently serves as an anchor and producer for Good day Alabama on the WBRC Fox 6 News. Prior to joining the WBRC, Janice worked at Channel 13 as a videotape editor and general reporter.
She worked as an intern at the WBRC while studying broadcast journalism at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Janice also worked as an intern at the local NBC affiliate. While there, she began her on-air career as a general reporter and videotape editor for Channel 13. Janice was then promoted to weekend reporter, East Alabama bureau chief, midday anchor, and, later, weekend anchor.
The WBRC was fortunate enough to lure Janice away from “next door” and hire her to anchor the news in September 1994. Janice has been quite busy since her arrival. She currently co-anchores and produces Good Day Alabama.
His strong ties to the community, as well as his dedication to service and family, have won him hundreds of fans and co-workers. Rogers is thrilled to be part of the WBRC FOX6 News team.
