Jonathan Martin is an American political journalist who works as a national political commentator for the New York Times. He is also an author and was involved in the writing of the 2012 book, The End of the Line: Romney vs. Obama: The 34 Days That Decided the Elections. Previously, he worked as a senior political writer for Politico since 2007, when it was launched.
In addition, he began covering politics for the National Journal and The Hotline political publications. He then reported on partisan politics and midterm elections for National Review magazine in 2006. The New Republic, National Journal, Wall Street Journal, and The Washington Post are some of the places where his work has been published. He has appeared on several radio and TV stations, including CNN, ABC, MSNBC, NPR and CBS, where he served as a political analyst and commentator.
